Feed those ducks
Vietnam is full of surprises. While it is both homes to some of the most idyllic beaches and jungle is known to man, it is also home to some of the weirder phenomena on planet Earth. One of these phenomena, whether you believe it or not, is duck feeding. Here, at the Ba River in Vietnam’s Tuy Hoa City, ducks are getting fed en masse. The number of ducks we see here is likely in part due to both the duck feeding and duck farming that goes into the village. Annually, there are around 30 million ducks that are farmed in this way, and the fruits of this farming (i.e., meat and eggs) are used to feed local villages and farmers. For the most part, these ducks are raised alongside rice paddies and the like. Either way, they exist in great abundance.
